    1. Github’s “used by” is a good reminder that download trends are not a good way to compare projects. github.com/nhoizey/jekyll-cloudinary → 42,883 downloads and 95 dependents github.com/nhoizey/jekyll-postfiles → “only” 12,264 downloads, but 126 dependents Less downloads but more dependents. 💪

    Unfortunately for this comparison, not all projects are hosted on Github. Fortunately, not all projects are hosted on Github.
