@css Well, “static site generators are gosh darn fast“ is a shortcut. I would say “static sites g̶e̶n̶e̶r̶a̶t̶o̶r̶s̶ CAN BE gosh darn fast“, particularly with @eleven_ty because it doesn’t inject any JS to the built site. Unfortunately, people also build slow static sites.
