I once saw such waterspouts (a little further) from a small boat I was on, in New Caledonia. The boat's outboard motor steering control was broken (a fluid leak), so we had to go very slow and use our feet to control the direction… looking at these anxiously… 😅 @wonderofscience/1298927689458282496
