@anthony_ricaud @hsablonniere I agree it's not inherent to the definition, obviously. Regarding use cases, validation is hard, so I try to KISS with immutable/far expire as much as possible, and low expire for fast changing resources. Of course you can use advanced features like ETags, but not everyone can.
