    @JoshWComeau Great writeup, once again! 👍 It might be useful to add that min() is also great now, but a little below CSS Grid. I'm still hesitating using it without fallback.

      @JoshWComeau Also, you write "columns are 1-indexed, so 2 is a reference to the middle column", but I think the lines are numbered, not the columns, so grid-column: 2 says the item "starts" at line 2. Might be nitpicking for this simple example, maybe you already know.
