@chriscoyier I also have an AppleTV that does almost everything and an "old" Anthem MRX 700. I plugged the AppleTV to the TV and the TV output to the Anthem. But I use a single Logitech Harmony Ultimate remote, so each piece of hardware receives commands for what it manages.
