    @StriftCodes @etportis @TwitterEng I agree "ugly" needs to be more precise… 😅 And I don't know why Twitter chose 2 DPR, but I guess they mostly show small images in timelines we scroll almost continuously, so little artefacts are much less noticeable than on big hero images in content or commerce sites.
